Jimbaran - Minggu, 29 April 2007
Pukul: 16.00 - 19.00 (jadualnya)
17.15-20.15 (kenyataan)

Lalu menu utama pun bergulir:
  • "Mari Melipat Origami"
    Nadia
Nadia masih ingat ! Dan Nadia pun berbagi kemahirannya membuat Origami. Beberapa orang masih sibuk belajar melipat kotak bahkan ketika menu utama lain sudah dihidangkan. Bagi yang masih ingin belajar membuat katak, bunga, burung Origami silahkan langsung menghubungi Nadia!

  • "Menyambung Adenium"
    Ayun & Fajar

Location: Rumah Joglo, Jimbaran Bali
(Thank you for Ibu Ayun & Aylin for your lovely Rumah Joglo and lawn)

Jimbaran - Sunday, 29 April 2007
Time: 16.00-19.00 WITA (official),
17.15-21.15 WITA (happened)

Location map of Rumah Joglo

Jimbaran sun smiles all afternoon for Soup Chat #06. Even some people considered it's too hot but some that made it on time used this lovely weather too play Frisbee at the lawn.

A glass of fresh Kefir smoothies (by Leo & Elaine) freshened the afternoon. They called it "Phuket Paradise" (Kefir, fresh pineapple and banana, coconut milk, pineapple jam). And who set the rules that appetizer should always served at the beginning of an event? This time the main course come first...

Before sun set, Ibu Ayun open her Bukit Permai Garden (next to the Rumah Joglo) and invited all soup chat enthusiasts to walk around the garden while she tell stories about Adenium.

After a nice stroll around the garden we went back to Rumah Joglo and sit watching Jimbaran Bay and enjoy Carrot Soup of the day.

And the main course rolls:
  • "Let's do Origami"
    Nadia
Anyone remember origami from playground or elementary school? Well Nadia does! And she shared her Origami skill. Some people are still busy with their 'paper box/ birds' when the next main course presented. For those who eager to learn more on how to make paper frog, flowers, bird-Origami contact Nadia!

  • "Fixing Adenium"
    Ayun & Fajar
I guess you've heard one type of flower grow naturally for each Adenium. But Fajar made a demo to fix 9 kind of Adenium flowers on one plant! It's a unique process like sewing, but what makes it more interesting is that this special Adenium went for auction at the end of the Soup Chat #06 event. Congratulation for LF that won the auction for noble reason... all the fund goes to Soup Chat box while we had the fun!! HoooRaaayyy!

  • "Soup Market"
This time Soup Market begin without the circle format of introduction because the sun already long gone and the rest of main courses were all ready to be presented. The 15 minutes free trade spawned happy faces for soup market enthusiasts. Perhaps next time we need to set a theme of items to create merrier Free Trade!

  • "Kefir"
    Leo
Who would have guess that "Phuket Paradise" that was served in the afternoon were made of Kefir, matrix symbiosis of 40-50 bacteria. Aii yooooo...

Leo did a well done presentation about Kefir starting for the exotic history, reproduction and Kefir benefit! On the next Soup Chat #07 May 2007 , Leo will give away some Kefir. Those who are interested with this limited kefir stock, please send an email to soup_chat@yahoo.com with subject: "I want Kefir" (it's a limited stock).

  • "Ucup's Comic"
    Yusuf a.k.a. Ucup
Ucup's slides showed lots of amazing illustration and comic concept. Although there is nothing much about Indonesian Comic Industry that we can be proud of, I was really pleased to see a world class Indonesian illustrations! (http://www.kofee77.deviantart.com)

And the moon went higher, shining bright between the candle lights and the main courses. ...

See you in the next Soup Chat #07 next month!
